Join us for a fun-filled 4-week journey as we dive into the world of visual storytelling and sequential art! You'll unleash your creativity as you produce your own comics. Each week, we’ll play art games that spark your imagination and explore a range of traditional and contemporary cartooning examples to broaden your comic-making skills. Get ready to experiment with different genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and auto-bio comics—it's your chance to share your stories in a unique way! As the weeks go by, you’ll pick up essential drawing and inking techniques to take your creative projects to the next level. This class, taught by professional artist and art educator, Thony Aiuppy, is made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the South Mandarin Branch Library.
