A festival celebrating self-publishing featuring creators from the Jacksonville community.
A celebration of independent and alternative forms of publishing - specifically comic books and zines (small, self-published magazines).
Join us for a day of crafting and learning about all things comic and zine. Featuring over 90 creators from the local community and special guest presenters, the Duval Comics and Zines Fest 2025 will engage your inner writer. Sprawling over three floors of the Main Library in downtown Jacksonville you will find vendor tables, printing presses, button makers, zine trading, cooperative comic-making, and programs for all ages. Join local creator Emily Malo for a Writer's Lab on using self-publishing for activism and social change, and author-artist-teacher-ceramicist Osa Atoe for a Lit Chat and book signing.
Looking for more? Keep the fun going all year long by attending the Zinester Meetup at Art Walk on the first Wednesday of every month.
