Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

Imagine if the library were made just for you and your friends. What types of programs and events would you plan? Join us at Teen Advisory Board, where your voice matters, and help make the changes happen. (For ages 12–17)

March 13

It’s game time, and there are only 60 seconds on the clock! Do you have the focus and concentration to bring home the prize? Team up with other teens at Jacksonville Public Library to compete in a series of deceivingly simple challenges!

March 27

Theme: Wage Words
Book: Ain't Burned All the Bright by Jason Reynolds

Registration is required for this event, and must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card is required for registration. If you do not have a card, click here to obtain a card. Please add the name of each participant in the program when completing registration.

If you’re a Jacksonville Public Library volunteer, be sure to register for this TAB opportunity in CERVIS to get credit for your volunteer hours. Follow this link - Volunteer at the Library to register or to become a volunteer with the library.

Attendance is limited. Please arrive early to check in. Check in starts 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.  When the program begins, unfilled registered spots will be made available to customers at a first come, first served basis.
