Join the Library and Hope Haven to watch the documentary "The Truth About Reading" followed by a panel discussion on what we are doing to make Jacksonville better for kids that struggle to read and write: early identification, education and rehabilitation. The Truth About Reading looks at the illiteracy problem in America, highlighting people who learned to read as adults, and sharing proposed solutions for working towards a future where every child learns to read proficiently.

Hope Haven is a local non-profit whose mission is to ensure that children and families realize their full potential by providing specialized services and individualized educational opportunities.
