June 13 - Native Pride Productions
"Dance through life" with Native Pride Productions in an educational and inspirational program about indigenous culture that includes storytelling, music, and dance.
June 20 - Just Add Rhythm
Let's go on a sonic adventure and experience rhythm in a whole new way! We'll focus on the sounds of different drums, shakers, and Boomwhackers, and practice turn taking, sharing, and listening skills. Our programs are completely hands-on and interactive; everyone gets to drum! We use evidence-based concepts to encourage communication and social skills in a way that's fun and high-energy. Let's get drumming!
June 27 - Clarks Critter's, LLC.
Clark’s Critters provides fun and educational reptile shows for all ages! Experience a once in a lifetime chance to meet these unique animals up close and in person!
July 11 - Wild Wonders Animal Show
Wild Wonders is proud to present “Scaly Sensations”, an interactive program that is both educational and entertaining for all ages. This program includes local and exotic reptiles that goes into their interesting habits and backgrounds. It uses story, music and humor to enhance and excite learning of our natural world. Of course, we will also have a few warm fuzzies in the program. Children and adults will be asked to help us hold selected animals. Come see this interesting program and join us as we explore the colorful and exciting world of reptiles.
July 18 - Art-Z-Faces
Join Glenda on a magical adventure through a World of Colors. She’ll use Balloons to create an interactive exploration experience for children from ages 1-101. You won’t want to miss it!!

Meet an award-winning author of over 50 nonfiction books and learn firsthand the creative process of how she turns her ideas into books you’ve checked out from the library! Featuring her books The Secret Science of Sports and Up Periscope!, a picture biography of groundbreaking engineer Ray Montague. Leave with tips for how to write your own book.

Get ready for a vibrant adventure at the “Colorful Science Spectacular,” brought to you by The STEAM Squad! This isn’t just another science show; it’s an exciting exploration of color-changing chemistry, where you’ll witness mind-blowing experiments that will leave you in awe. This interactive event is perfect for curious minds of all ages, featuring engaging science demonstrations that invite everyone to jump in and participate!
August 8 - Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens
Colors are everywhere in Nature, whether you want to blend in or stand out! Join the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens’ Animal Ambassadors to see how all types of living things Color Our World.
Attendance is limited, and is first-come first-served. Please arrive early to check in. Check in starts 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.
This program is intended for youth participants and their families. Large groups or organizations should send program requests to jplyouthservices@coj.net two days prior to the program. All requests may not be accommodated.
