About: Join us as we learn about Florida-Friendly Landscaping and how to Water Efficiently. You will also learn how your landscape has lasting effects, your yard has far-reaching "water" consequences, and about Quality landscapes that conserve water, protect the environment, are adaptable to local conditions, and are drought-tolerant.
UF/IFAS Mission: Our mission is to continually enhance the quality of life for a unified Jacksonville by strengthening decision-making, knowledge application, economic security, environmental care, and leadership skills for all citizens.
Register to save your seat. Registration must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card and PIN are required for registration. If you do not have a card, click HERE to obtain one.
All registered seats will be forfeited 5 minutes before the program start time and made available to waitlisted and walk-in attendees. Registered attendees arriving after this time will be seated if seats are available.

Are you ready to reveal what lurks in the shadows? Over four chilling weeks, craft zines that twist nightmares into narratives, monsters into main characters, and haunted spaces into handmade worlds. With inspiration from Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia, this program is all about celebrating the horror genre. Each session unlocks a new form of eerie expression: mega zines that burst with dread, digital monsters stitched from pixels, 3D haunted houses that rise from the page, and cursed collages that whisper their own dark stories. Will you dare to publish the horrors hiding in your mind?
