Life Labs are free workshops offered by trained professionals and volunteers that focus on improving your day to day life. These programs cover a wide range of workshops from gardening to small business needs. No need to bring anything but yourself to participate!

About the Program: Make a plan for your landscape in 2027! Don't worry if you missed last month's program - catch up and prepare for the new year! Learn techniques for documenting your garden's growth and patterns. Garden journaling helps you track what works in your space, plan improvements, and reflect on seasonal changes. Not sure what the right time of year is to prune, fertilize or plant? Interested in trying out edible plants, learning about bulbs or how to propagate plants from cuttings? No worries! Come join us on to create your own calendar full of important dates and instructions on diversifying your garden month to month. This program is focused on July through December, but if you missed last month's program, we will catch you up!
UF/IFAS Mission: Our mission is to continually enhance the quality of life for a unified Jacksonville through strengthening decision making, knowledge application, economic security, environmental care and leadership skills for all citizens.
Register to save your seat. Registration must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card and PIN are required for registration. If you do not already have one, you can apply for a library card online.
All registered seats will be forfeited at 6:25 p.m. and made available to waitlisted and walk-in attendees. Registered attendees arriving after this time will be seated if seats are available.
