Sensory Friendly Storytime (ages 2-5)

Your child enjoys stories, music, and movement in a small, welcoming environment. That’s why our program, designed for children ages 2-5 with sensory sensitivities, combines traditional storytime components with supportive elements. We’ve also limited attendance to enhance the experience.

September 4 – 9

Theme: Silly

Books: Is That Wise, Pig? by Jan Thomas and Is Everyone Ready for Fun? by Jan Thomas 

September 11 – 16

Theme: Jungle

Books: If You’re Happy and You Know It by Jane Cabrera and It’s a Tiger! by David LaRochelle

September 18 – 23

Theme: Pirates

Books: Pirate Jack Gets Dressed by Nancy Raines Day and We’re Going on a Treasure Hunt by Kelly DiPucchio

September 25 – 30

Theme: Fall

Books: We're Going on a Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzger and One Leaf, Two Leaves, Count with Me! By John Micklos

Registration is required for this event, and must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card is required for registration. If you do not have a card, click here to obtain a card. Please add the name of each participant in the program when completing registration.

Attendance is limited. Please arrive early to check in. Check in starts 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. When the program begins, unfilled registered spots will be made available to customers at a first come, first served basis.
