Join our Great Decisions discussion group to talk about critical global issues facing America today. Each meeting begins with a 30-minute film on the discussion topic and is followed by a facilitator-led discussion.
Topic Description: This topic will explore the contours of the U.S. foreign policy debate as it plays out in a world of multiple and escalating crises and domestic polarization.
Facilitator: Bailey Sellers is a visiting lecturer at Flagler College teaching in the Political Science Department and core courses. Currently a Doctor of Political Science Security Studies candidate, ABD, at the University of Central Florida's School of Politics, Security & International Affairs, Bailey Sellers specializes in U.S. foreign policy, political stability, and the dynamics of political survival in authoritarian regimes. Prior to pursuing a Ph.D., Bailey Sellers earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Flagler College and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the University of North Florida.
With a passion for understanding the complex intersections of global politics and security, Bailey Sellers brings a broad academic perspective to both research and teaching, offering insights into the forces shaping international relations and governance.
About Great Decisions:
Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book (optional), and meeting in a Discussion Group to discuss critical global issues facing America today. Each meeting begins with a 30 minute film on the discussion topic and is followed by a facilitator-led discussion.
