Love the library? Looking for volunteer hours? Have an interest in what we do? Come on down and see what volunteering is all about, and get an hour of service (after signing up) for just attending!
The Jacksonville Public Library loves the work our teen volunteers do, and we think you would, too! You can earn your service hours at your favorite library branch. Our volunteer coordinators would love to meet new prospective volunteers, show them what our volunteers do, and help you sign up to join our great program! Learn more about the volunteer program here.
When you finish the onboarding process, you will be awarded with one hour of service just for coming to this drop-in!* We are so excited to meet all of you and start a rewarding volunteering career!
*Note: Youth ages 12-15 years may only volunteer as a member of the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) and/or during the Summer. TAB is offered only in-person at select branches. This is not a TAB event. Youths between 16-18 years may participate in TAB and/or in different capacities in our locations. Youth under the age of 16 may not be awarded for time spent during the event.
Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, accommodations for persons with disabilities are available upon request for public library programs. Please allow 1–2 business days to process. Last-minute requests will be accepted, but may not be possible to fulfill. Please ask for Learning Services at 255-2665 or email JPLPrograms@coj.net.
