Preschoolers and their families are invited to join us for stories songs, and fingerplays while we explore our Traveling Tales Collection. Participants will learn how to use this excellent preschool resource at home.

Come to the library and meet Kiwi: a super soft poodle-mix that loves kids, books, and cookies. Kiwi is a licensed therapy dog and knows over 20 commands. This event is for children ages 5-12. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Reading to dogs can boost reading skills in children as well as help with emotional and social skills. Drop in and give your child an opportunity to practice their reading skills one-on-one with a trained therapy dog. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Brush up on your chess skills or learn from scratch. This informal gathering welcomes any level of mastery. Come enjoy an age-old game with your fellow customers.
