The JaxKids Book Club is a project of the Library Foundation of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Public Library that establishes and enhances the home libraries of all preschoolers in Duval County by providing them with new books that feature the landmarks and locations of Jacksonville. We distribute a backpack full of books automatically to registered voluntary pre-kindergarten (VPK) students each fall at the beginning of their school year. Our programming outreach team goes into the VPK centers to support this book distribution with storytimes featuring the books included in the backpack.
