This Junior Lit Chat Interview is a 30-minute presentation by author Mr. Joe including time for audience Q&A. After the program there will be 30 minutes for a book signing with the author. A limited number of books will be given away to registered attendees, first come, first served. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Mandarin Library.
Note: This is NOT a Mr. Joe storytime. Mr. Joe will give a presentation geared toward ages 5-12 about his new book, Teemu the Emu, and what it takes to become a published author.
Join Mr. Joe for inspiring author talks, where he shares insights into the world of children's literature and the process of creating captivating picture books. As the author of "Teemu the Emu" and other upcoming releases, Mr. Joe offers a unique behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of storytelling.
During his author talks, Mr. Joe engages young audiences with interactive discussions about the writing process, character development, and the journey from idea to publication. Through lively presentations, students will gain a deeper understanding of the creative process and the importance of storytelling.
With a focus on fostering creativity and imagination, Mr. Joe encourages young minds to explore their own storytelling abilities and to embrace the joy of reading and writing. Whether in person or virtually, these author talks provide an engaging and educational experience for youth, inspiring them to discover the magic of storytelling within themselves.
