Vashti Harrison presents a 90-minute hands-on workshop on writing and illustrating children's books with an emphasis on visual storytelling.
This workshop is an intro to writing and illustrating children's books with an emphasis on visual storytelling with Caldecott Medal Winner, Vashti Harrison. Vashti will give an overview of her creative process for writing and illustrating for children. She will demonstrate how she uses film and animation visual development techniques to make stories and characters leap off the page. She will walk participants through story and character development exercises.
