Jennie Ziegler presents a two-hour hands on workshop on honing your nonfiction skills.
Hone your writing skills through this generative workshop exploring the broad and varied field of creative nonfiction. What is nonfiction? It is described, by its title alone, by what it is not. It is not fiction. And that is the only clue we have of this sprawling genre filled with voices from the culinary world, the travel world, the world of loss and laughter and…field guides? Prepare to flex your writing muscles during this session. Participants will be brainstorming, writing, and questioning closely an exciting genre that defies simplistic definition. More specifically, participants will be writing about both yourselves and the world around you: through memories, through the senses, and through place-based writing.
Register to save your seat. Registration must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card and PIN are required for registration. If you do not have a card, click HERE to obtain one.
