San Marco Branch is celebrating their 75th anniversary. Inspired by an endearing Japanese custom of folding cranes for good health, the Children's Department hopes to promote good literacy health for years to come by inviting you to a special community craft event. This origami drop-in is intended for ages 9-17.
How many cranes can you fold before the year is up? The goal is to display 1,000 paper cranes in the Children's library! Help reach this goal and learn a new craft.
Make sure to bring your Summer Reading Bingo Tracker! This event counts as a library program and can get you closer to a prize. Reading 20 minutes a day paves the way towards learning and fun! Track your minutes on the Beanstack App or on a paper tracker at your favorite library branch.
