Dan Waily presents a 2-hour hands on workshop on bookbinding basics.
About the program: The goal of this workshop is to introduce a style of bookbinding that adds an inexpensive personal touch to any comic or zine. Participants will learn a hand-stitch saddle binding technique using an awl, needle, and wax thread. Each participant will walk away with their own 10-20pg pamphlet and receive a complimentary 1pg zine on how to book bind. If you already have a zine made you’d like to bind, bring your pages with you and sew to your heart's content!
This program is a part of DCAZ Fest.
