Need help preparing to take the GED Tests? Schedule an intake appointment to register for GED test prep classes. Thanks for registering for the in-person intake Friday, 8th of August at 10:00 am. It is located on the Ground Floor at the back right of the ground floor, E124 is the classroom. This in the Main Library. 303 N Laura Street, Downtown. Make sure to use the parking garage at 33 W Duval St, Jacksonville, FL 32202 or a parking meter. If you park in the garage, bring your parking ticket to your appointment, so we can instruct you on getting it validated before you leave. Please no children allowed, we will be testing. Please be on time because we will close the door at 1010 am. The process usually lasts until 1130 am.

Does your child like arts and crafts? Join us after Little Readers for a simple craft based on the theme from story time! For children walking to 5 years of age with an adult caregiver.
Join us at 3:00 p.m. and listen to Mr. Thomas share a few of his favorite stories. Then attendees are encouraged to share their own favorite stories with friends and family or read quietly on their own. Participants that read for 20 minutes will be able to choose a prize from our treasure chest while supplies last. Youth of all ages are welcome.

Join us after school every Friday afternoon for a hands-on Lego activity! Get inspired by one of our fun Lego challenges or freestyle your own creation. Bring your project to the West Branch Library and get comfortable by our fireplace! Meet up with your crafty friends, or make some new ones while you're here.
We'll reserve the fireplace area on the second Saturday of the month and set out some resources for your stitches that you can use while you're here or check out with your library card.
The River City Readers Bookmobile will be delighting readers at Eartha’s Farm and Market! As the literacy challenge continues into its second year, Mayor Deegan, Kids Hope Alliance, Jacksonville Public Library and others are excited to bring the River City Readers Bookmobile message promoting literacy and a love of reading into every neighborhood in Jacksonville. Our bookmobile librarians can sign the whole family up for library cards and help you find the perfect book! We will visit monthly to encourage youth and their families to make reading and enjoying books an everyday activity.
