Come to the library and meet Kiwi: a super soft poodle-mix that loves kids, books, and cookies. Kiwi is a licensed therapy dog and knows over 20 commands. Read her a story, and she will be your new best friend! Kids in attendance will receive a special customized tattoo, sticker, or a magnet of Kiwi (while supplies last). This event is for children ages 5-12. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration recommended. Walk-ins are first come, first serve.

If you love gaming and have ever wondered “How do they make this?", then come join us at GAME JAM!  GAME JAM is a weekly, project-based club where students learn to design, code, and publish their own video games. Participants will design their own original games, learn coding logic, work in teams, and more!  Great for problem-solving, creative thinking, collaboration, digital literacy, and having fun!  Each session builds toward a playable game that students can share with friends and family. Each week will feature a different knit stitch pattern and a staff member available to help in the first hour of the event. Feel free to bring your current project, and any basic questions you may have! There are limited supplies available, however you may need to bring your own.
