Cooks and Books Teens: Survival Boards
Sticky Fingers Cooking School (ages 12-17)
Wednesday, December 02
4:15pm - 5:15pm
Brown Eastside Branch
Activity RoomMay the odds be ever in your flavor! Inspired by dystopian favorites like The Hunger Games, Divergent, The Maze Runner, and The 5th Wave, teens will build a charcuterie-style board that's half lavish feast, half scrappy survival spread. Learn real knife skills, how to slice, fold, and arrange like a pro, and the art of pairing sweet, salty, crunchy, and fresh. We'll talk books while we work (and which world you'd survive in), then everyone digs in. No experience needed, just bring your appetite!
Attendance is limited and is first-come first-served. Please arrive early to check in. Check in starts 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Late entry will not be permitted after 15 minutes past the program’s start time.
This program is intended for youth participants and their families. Large groups or organizations should send program requests to jplyouthservices@coj.net two days prior to the program. All requests may not be accommodated.
