The Beaches Library’s Flamingo Book Club is spreading their wings and are now reading a diverse selection of fiction, non-fiction, and still some Florida based literature. Flamingo Book Club meets in the Community Room in the Beaches Branch.
October 26: For Halloween, we will be reading a classic by Stephen King, Misery. This book is available at JPL in print and on Overdrive as an e-book and e-audiobook. Please visit a JPL reference desk or call 255-BOOK for help reserving a copy.
November 30: November's discussion is about The Stationery Shop by Marjan Kamali. The book is available at JPL in print, large print, on Overdrive as an e-book and e-audiobook. Please visit a JPL reference desk or call 255-BOOK for help reserving a copy.
December 14: This holiday season we will be reading and discussing A Christmas Story by Jean Shepherd. Shepherd was a Sanibel Island resident until his death in 1999. The book is available in print and book on cd. Please visit a JPL reference desk or call 255-BOOK for help reserving a copy.
