Do you like to cook and talk about food? Do you love to read cookbooks, but often don’t have the time to make all the recipes? The Cookbook Club is for you. Join neighbors and library staff online to discuss the recipes and show off what you have cooked.
May 17: Black food: Stories, Art, and Essays
With contributions from more than 100 Black cultural luminaries from around the globe, the book moves through chapters exploring parts of the Black experience, from Homeland to Migration, Spirituality to Black Future, offering delicious recipes, moving essays, and arresting artwork.
Registration is required for this event, and must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card and PIN are required for registration. If you do not have a card, click HERE to obtain one.
Registered seats may be forfeited five minutes after start of program.
