Monday, July 18th: Apparently There Were Complaints by Sharon Gless.  

Apparently There Were Complaints delves into Gless's remarkable career and explores Gless's complicated family, her struggles with alcoholism, and her fear of romantic commitment as well as her encounters with some of Hollywood's biggest names. Brutally honest and incredibly relatable, Gless puts it all out on the page in the same way she has lived--never with moderation.

Monday, August 15th: Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs

Monday, September 19th: Greedy: Notes from a Bisexual Who Wants Too Much by Jen Winston 

With her clever voice and clear-eyed insight, Jen draws on personal experiences with sexism and biphobia to understand how we all can and must do better. She sheds light on the reasons women, queer people, and other marginalized groups tend to make ourselves smaller, provoking the question: What would happen if we suddenly stopped?  
 
Greedy shows us that being bisexual is about so much more than who you're sleeping with--it's about finding stability in a state of flux and defining yourself on your own terms. This book inspires us to rethink the world as we know it, reminding us that Greedy was a superpower all along.

Copies of these books will be available to check out at the Circulation desk. This book club is welcome to all. 

Registration is required for this event, and must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card and PIN is required for registration. If you do not have a card, click HERE to obtain one.

Registered seats may be forfeited five minutes after start of program.
