Get ready to make! STEAM & Stories (ages 5-12) is a live program inspired by a book! Each week we read an exciting book and then participate in a hands-on activity inspired by the book.

Supplies:
- Paper
- Coloring utensils (markers, crayons, colored pencils)
October 10 - 15
Theme: Creativity
Featured Book: Isabel and Her Colores Go to School by Alexandra Alessandri
Supplies:
- Pencil and eraser
- Water color pencils or paint
- 1 cup of water
- 1 paint brush
- Cardstock or mixed media paper
- Paper towels

Theme: Monsters
Featured Book: Brains! Not Just a Zombie Snack by Stacy McAnulty
Supplies:
- Air dry clay or Play Dough
- Sculpting tools like toothpicks and paper clips
Oct. 31 – Nov. 05
Theme: Spooky
Featured Book: Creepy Carrots by Aaron
Supplies:
- Scissors
- Tape
- Coloring utensils (crayons, markers, or color pencils)
- White paper 1 sheet
- Tinker materials such as:
- Cardboard
- Cardboard tubes
- Paper
- Cardstock
- Yarn
- Cotton swabs
- Crayons
Registration is required for this event, and must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card is required for registration. If you do not have a card, click here to obtain a card.
Attendance is limited. Your Zoom name must match your registration name for you to be admitted to the program. A link to the Zoom meeting room will be sent 1 hour prior to the event.
