Does your child learn best with paint, paper, popsicle sticks and glue? Add in a book and some games and you’ve got the perfect program for your little artist.
Get ready to get creative! Junior Artists (ages 5-8) is a live art program on Zoom. Each week we read an exciting book and then create artwork inspired by our theme. Program materials are basic art supplies. Each month we have a new art kit with its own art project available at all open library branches. Some of the program supplies may be found in that kit.

• Ultra-fine tip black sharpie

March 9
Theme: Environmental Warriors

Supplies:
• Coloring supplies

• 1 piece of cardstock or paper
• A Handful of leaves, flowers, twigs, or other interesting things from nature
March 16
Theme: Space Pioneers
Featured Book: The Stuff Between The Stars by Sandra Nickel

• Mixed media paper or cardstock
• Pencil and eraser
• Coloring supplies
• Water color paint

Registration is required for this event, and must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card is required for registration. If you do not have a card, click here to obtain a card. Please add the name of each participant in the program when completing registration.
Attendance is limited. Your Zoom name must match your registration name for you to be admitted to the program. A link to the Zoom meeting room will be sent 1 hour prior to the event. When the program begins, unfilled registered spots will be made available to customers at a first come, first served basis.
