Inspired by the graphic novel Miles Morales Shock Waves, you'll learn valuable techniques, tips, and tricks that will help bring your comic book creations to life.
Get ready for a deep dive! Discover Lab is a program designed to give children between the ages of 9-12 positive experiences around books and support them in developing new skills.
Each 8 to 9-week lab will feature a high interest topic from the world of science, technology, engineering, art, or math. We’ll use a variety of materials to make learning come alive as we explore a different skill within that topic each week.

Attendance is limited and is first-come first-served. Please arrive early to check in. Check in starts 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Late entry will not be permitted after 15 minutes past the program’s start time.
This program is intended for youth participants and their families. Large groups or organizations should send program requests to jplyouthservices@coj.net two days prior to the program. All requests may not be accommodated.
