June 14- Jennifer Swanson, The Lost Forest: An Unexpected Discovery Beneath the Waves
Take an exciting and interactive journey with award-winning STEM author Jennifer Swanson. Join us for this exciting new adventure about underwater forests, science, and research.
July 5- Shiva Robotics Academy
Join us for a Robotics Adventure with Shiva Robotics Academy! Do you like to build things or see how things work? Do you like to use your mental skills to solve everyday problems? This is a great opportunity for kids ages 5-12 to learn about LEGO Robotics, to meet and interact with a scientist or engineer, and to personally explore scientific facts through this live demonstration!
July 19- Jacksonville Zoo
All new storytelling event- “Adventuring with Animals" - where audience participation is key for this “Choose Your Own Adventure” style experience; plus a visit with Jacksonville Zoo's Animal Ambassadors!
Attendance is limited, and is first-come first-served. Please arrive early to check in. Check in starts 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.
This program is intended for youth participants and their families. Large groups or organizations should send program requests to jplyouthservices@coj.net two days prior to the program. All requests may not be accommodated.
