The New Worlds Reading Family Literacy Event is an interactive reading experience designed for children in VPK through 5th grade. Families will enjoy engaging stories, hands-on reading activities, fun learning experiences together, and a free lunch! Parents and caregivers will gain practical strategies for reading aloud at home and meaningful ways to support their child’s literacy development. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enroll in the Free Book Delivery Program and learn how to receive free books in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Braille. Advance registration is required.

This program is intended for individual youth participants. Large groups or organizations should send program requests to jplyouthservices@coj.net two days prior to the program. All requests may not be accommodated.
