STEAM & Stories (ages 5-12)

Have you ever seen the world through a kaleidoscope? Are you ready to explore your whys? Get ready to embark on an exciting journey at this month's Steam and Stories programs! Discover imposters, squirrels, dinosaurs, and so much more in our engaging crafts and stories. Each STEAM and Stories is an opportunity for your child to engage with their peers, enjoy a good story, and participate in themed games or crafts. For ages 5-12.

Jan. 27–Feb. 1

Feb. 3–Feb. 8 
Featured Book: The Year of the Snake by Oliver Chin 
 

Feb. 10–Feb. 15 
Note: This week we will have a special program to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the song, “Lift Every Voice and Sing” by James Weldon Johnson 
Featured Book: I Believe I Can by Grace Byers 
  

Feb. 17–Feb. 22  
Featured Book: Mermaid and Pirate by Tracey Baptiste  
 

Feb. 24–March 1 
Featured Book: The Night Market by Tracey Baptiste

Attendance is limited and is first-come first-served. Please arrive early to check in. Check in starts 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Late entry will not be permitted after 15 minutes past the program’s start time.

This program is intended for youth participants and their families. Large groups or organizations should send program requests to jplyouthservices@coj.net two days prior to the program. All requests may not be accommodated.
