We will be able to identify the fossils you find, and you can learn more about the different geological time periods that they came from. The materials for this activity will be provided on a first come, first served basis.

Students discover what makes a sea turtle unique, learn about the species found in Florida, explore their adaptations and nesting process, and find out how they can help protect these animals. They then take part in “Rehab or Release?”, a hands‑on activity where they act as biologists, collect data on a model sea turtle, and decide whether it’s ready to return to the ocean or needs rehabilitation. Along the way, they practice real scientific skills and learn about the human impacts affecting sea turtles today. No live turtles are included in this program.

Several dinosaurs have gotten lost inside the library! We urgently need help finding all of them. Once you find one, bring it to the teen room to sign an adoption certificate. Each dinosaur comes with a customized "Adoption Paper" where you can write its name, unique personality, and fun facts!
