Are you nervous about reading aloud? Come read one-on-one to a trained therapy dog, Mr. Vito. Mr. Vito is a friendly dog who loves when kids sit with him and read! He even wears a bowtie for the occasion. Reading to dogs can boost children’s literacy skills as well as help with emotional and social skills. This activity is allocated in 10-15 minutes increments.
Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, accommodations for persons with disabilities are available upon request. Please allow 1–2 business days to process. Last-minute requests will be accepted, but may not be possible to fulfill. Please ask for Learning Services at 255-2665 or email JPLPrograms@coj.net.
