Mayor Deegan's River City Readers Bookmobile

Mayor Deegan’s River City Readers challenge is exciting readers of all ages throughout Jacksonville. As readers continue to log their daily reading minutes in the Beanstack app, this year the Mayor is hitting the road with a brand-new River City Readers bookmobile! Come out to meet the Mayor when she brings the bookmobile to Family Reading Day and look for the bookmobile in your neck of the woods soon for reading events, book giveaways, and more. The River City Readers Bookmobile is sponsored by PNC Bank and the Lucy Gooding Foundation.

Encourage your child to read and add a new book to your home library. All children are encouraged to come see the new bookmobile and select one free book to take home. Enjoy early literacy activities, coloring pages, games and more as you take your turn to go on the bookmobile. Book giveaway is first-come first-served while supplies last.

This service is intended for youth participants and their families. Large groups or organizations should send program requests to jplyouthservices@coj.net two days prior to the program. All requests may not be accommodated.
