In this immersive Writer’s Lab workshop, award-winning author Dr. Katherine Hutchinson Hayes guides aspiring and experienced writers through the foundational elements of crafting a compelling thriller novel. Participants will learn how to build suspense, create believable stakes, develop unforgettable villains and heroes, and structure scenes that keep readers hooked from beginning to end. Through hands-on exercises, brainstorming activities, and interactive discussions, attendees will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply to their own writing projects.

About the Presenter:
Dr. Katherine Hutchinson Hayes is an award-winning author, editor, illustrator, and publisher known for crafting emotionally rich stories filled with suspense, faith, and unforgettable characters. She is the founder of Dressed in Love Press, LLC, where she works closely with emerging and established authors to help bring meaningful stories to life. Dr. Hayes has written across multiple genres, including poetry, articles, thrillers, devotionals, and inspirational works. Her passion for storytelling and mentoring writers has made her a sought-after speaker for literary workshops and creative events. Through her teaching, she encourages writers to sharpen their craft, embrace creativity, and build stories that resonate deeply with readers.
