The Jacksonville Public Library is open late for downtown Art Walk every first Wednesday of the month! Art Walk at the Library is 6 pm to 9 pm.
Join in the creativity and experience the enthusiasm for local art at the Jacksonville Public Library. For Art Walk, the entire library is open late to 9pm. We host an assortment of fantastic regional and national artists in our main gallery space facilitated by the Jacksonville Artists Guild and The Art Center Cooperative, Inc. Explore the library and connect with a variety of impactful community partners. Drop by the Zine Zone for the Zinester Meetup to create, discuss, and even trade handmade short-form media. Come into our Teen department during Art Walk for hand-selected art kits and visit the fourth floor for a look at our map room, Grand Reading Room, and Memory Lab. Stop by the Promenade Lounge for tabletop gaming experiences.
Between the music and the energy, the art and the many (many!) books, the Jacksonville Public Library is the place to be every first Wednesday of the month.
