If you love gaming and have ever wondered “How do they make this?", then come join us at GAME JAM! GAME JAM is a weekly, project-based club where students learn to design, code, and publish their own video games. Participants will design their own original games, learn coding logic, work in teams, and more! Great for problem-solving, creative thinking, collaboration, digital literacy, and having fun! Each session builds toward a playable game that students can share with friends and family. One time pre-registration required at https://firstcoastesports.org/programs-1. Participants should bring their own device. Please indicate on the form if you will need to borrow one during the session.
Attendance is limited and is first-come first-served. Please arrive early to check in. Check in starts 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Late entry will not be permitted after 15 minutes past the program’s start time.
This program is intended for individual youth participants. Large groups or organizations should send program requests to jplyouthservices@coj.net two days prior to the program. All requests may not be accommodated.
Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, accommodations for persons with disabilities are available upon request. Please allow 1–2 business days to process. Last-minute requests will be accepted, but may not be possible to fulfill. Please ask for Learning Services at 255-2665 or email JPLprograms@coj.net.
